FAQ

Everything you need to know before applying.

bido is a Nigeria-first venture studio and holding company. We identify high-potential Nigerian founders, provide capital up to ₦2M, systems, strategy, brand and governance — and hold equity as the strategic operating partner. bido Corp is the parent. Every supported venture is an independent subsidiary.
Anyone Nigeria-based, 18 or older, with a real business idea and the commitment to build it. Teams of 1–5 people. Lagos and Abuja preferred for Year 1. You must clearly answer: what real problem am I solving, and who has it right now?
Neither. bido takes equity in exchange for capital and full infrastructure support. You are not repaying a loan. You are building a business alongside a strategic partner who holds a stake and is accountable to your success.
Between 20% and 70% depending on the level of support. Studio support only: 20–35%. Full capital plus infrastructure: 40–65%. Equity reflects the total value bido contributes. Agreed at term sheet stage before anything is signed.
In three milestone-triggered tranches — 30% on launch, 40% on first verified revenue, 30% on consistent revenue over 4+ weeks. No milestone, no release. No exceptions. Never a lump sum.
The open call begins September 2026. Pre-launch build phase runs June–August 2026. Apply above to register interest and receive the Business Case Template when applications open.
